Grand Wizard Alabaster has been asked by the wizard’s guild to take care of a troll plague in the Marshlands. As an apprentice, your task is to learn words as these are the basic foundation of magic. The more words a magician knows and remembers, the more powerful he or she becomes. Better start now or else Grand Wizard Alabaster will turn you into a toad if he finds out that you are doing nothing.
Before starting the game, you are given the choice to either play action mode or puzzle mode. In action mode, you need to make as many words as possible. Each level has a goal point which you have to accomplish by creating words. But there is a time limit so you have to create words as fast as possible. In puzzle mode, you also have a goal point that you need to accomplish for each level. This game mode does not have a time limit; however, you only have 10 turns to achieve the goal point. For both game modes, a bonus level is given after every level. This will help you get more points. Each letter has its corresponding points. This is determined by the dots above the letters. You can also earn other bonus points by making longer words which in turn will give out green letters which will increase the points of the letter by 50 percent. Another bonus is a star which can substitute to any letter. On the other hand, if you make words made up by 3 letters, there is a chance that a red letter will come out. This decreases a letter’s point by 50 percent.
So go ahead young apprentice and learn words to become a great magician!
